Pitt Worx is live! Get started today!

Dear University Colleagues,

Happy New Year! We hope you all had a restful winter recess, and are eager for a new year of great collaboration. With this New Year comes our new human resources and payroll system — Pitt Worx. We know you’re ready to log in and learn more about the system and we’re pleased to share the information you need to do that.

Accessing Pitt Worx

Everyone can easily access Pitt Worx through the My Pitt portal. For the complete list of tasks available in the Pitt Worx task center, head to My Pitt and search for “Pitt Worx.”

Entering Time Cards for Recess and Moving Forward

Non-exempt (biweekly) time should be entered as directed in the winter recess time keeping announcement. For December 27 through January 2, time must be submitted and approved by the extended deadline of 12 p.m. (noon) on Thursday, January 7. Future time cards will resume the usual deadline of noon on Mondays. Exempt (monthly) time should only be entered if exception time off (i.e.  vacation, sick, or personal) is taken.

  • Learn how to submit your time card in Pitt Worx.
  • All time cards current and future must be entered in Pitt Worx.
  • PRISM TRKS is no longer used for time keeping.

Getting Started

Review the Getting Started in Pitt Worx guide on the Pitt Worx Hub on SharePoint to learn your way through the system and to learn about the most important items to you as an employee. This includes submitting your time card and reviewing personal information, pay statements, and benefits. Are you a student worker? Check out how to navigate Pitt Worx for students.

Bookmark the Pitt Worx Hub in your browser for easy access. We don’t recommend trying to export or download the reference guides, as minor changes to Pitt Worx may occur to keep it running as efficiently as possible.

Questions or concerns can be submitted to the HR Shared Services team or to your area’s Pitt Worx Champion.

We’re excited to provide an enhanced experience in University systems with the launch of Pitt Worx, and are grateful for your support of this important initiative!

Thank you,

Pitt Worx Project Team
