Logging in to Pitt Worx

Log in to Pitt Worx by visiting login.pittworx.pitt.edu or visiting my.pitt.edu, searching for "Pitt Worx," and launching the Pitt Worx task (via Pitt Passport).

Once in Pitt Worx, select Address & Tax Form Changes from the Me page.

You will be redirected to authenticate through Pitt Passport to access Address & Tax Form Changes.

Review Your Information

Review your employee information. Select the Show Details button in the My Information section to verify your Social Security Number (SSN) and date of birth (DOB).

Disregard the Employee No. field, as this is not your Pitt employee number, student ID, or PeopleSoft number.

Edit Resident Address

Select Edit Address to edit your current address. If your Work Address is incorrect, contact your supervisor.

Enter your address into the Address fields and select Save. You may receive a prompt that your address cannot be verified. You will be able to save it without verification, however you may need to provide verification information on the address verification form.

Because your address is recorded on all of your tax forms, always select the Continue to Forms button to complete the necessary Federal, State, and Company forms. There is no prompt to begin this process.

Federal Forms

Select the Create button. Your first name, middle initial, last name, social security number, and updated address, city, state, and zip code will automatically update.Update the rest of the W-4 form with your elections.

Select the Finish Later button to save your progress and return to the form later. Use the Preview Form button to preview the form in new web browser tab. When you are satisfied with your form and are ready to submit, select the Submit to Employer button.

If you choose to Withhold Extra, you will be prompted to verify the amount.

Select the OK button to finalize your submission. Select Continue to move forward to State Forms

State Forms

Read the EForm Prerequisite Questions. If any of the statements apply to you, select Yes to complete the PA 419EX. If none of the statements apply to you, select No and then Save.

Note: Depending upon which state (e.g., reciprocral state), there may be additional state forms to complete.

Select Create to begin the Residency Certification form. Your first name, middle initial, last name, social security number, and updated address, city, state and zip code will automatically update. Enter your daytime phone number into the Daytime Phone Number field. Optionally, enter an email address in the Email Address field.

Select the Finish Later button to save your progress and return to the form later. Use the Preview Form button to preview the form in new web browser tab. When you are satisfied with your form and are ready to submit, select the Submit to Employer button.

Select the OK button to finalize your submission.

Read the EForm Prerequisite Questions in regards to the Pittsburgh Local Service Tax. Select the No or Yes button accordingly and then select the Save button.

If you selected Yes, select the Create button to complete the LST Exemption form.

Your first name, middle initial, last name, social security number, and updated address, city, state and zip code will automatically update. Enter your phone number into the Phone # field. Select the Instructions link for additional instructions. Select the reason for exemption.

If Reason 1. Multiple Employers is selected, you will need to provide information for both employers. Note: Dates cannot be typed into the date fields. You must use the calendar icon and select a date.

Select the Finish Later button to save your progress and return to the form later. Use the Preview Form button to preview the form in new web browser tab. When you are satisfied with your form and are ready to submit, select the Submit to Employer button.

After reviewing the contents of the Alert pop-up window, select OK.

After reviewing the contents of the Confirm pop-up window, select OK.

Select the Click here link to review and/or change your answers to the form prerequisite questions. Select Continue to continue. Then, select the Continue button to complete the process.

Reviewing Current EForms

Use the Current EForms button to review or change your Current EForms.

Reviewing Historical EForms

Use the Historical EForms button to access past EForms.
